This extra coarse diamond disc is suitable for use on the HORL 2 or HORL 2 PRO. This disc is ideal for correcting the edge of very blunt or damaged knives. Suited more for Western knives: Not recommended on Japanese knives. This interchangeable disc is easily attached to the HORL 2 sharpeners and during the first few uses excess diamond particles may be heard coming off the disc. This is normal and after a few uses the sound will go.
