This range of laminated double bevel knives are named Nashiji due to their unique surface pattern. Nashiji means the surface of a Japanese pear. A laminated blade construction with a cutting core of Gingami No.3 (high-carbon steel) and a Rockwell Hardness of 62 HRC. These knives have black pakka wood handles. Made in Miki City. This medium sized laminated, preparation knife is the perfect ‘all-rounder’. The Bunka is similar to a Santoku: it is a multipurpose knife suitable for vegetables, boneless meats, fish and herbs.
