The central cutting core of VG10 is surrounded by 64 layers of steel giving them the famous woodgrain appearance. These knives have a Rockwell hardness of 60-61 HRC and have black pakka wood handles. Made in Echizen city. This large multi-layered carving knife is the only specific carving knife Kin Knives has to offer. Although it is a carving knife please remember that these high quality blades are not suitable to go into bones.
