A beautiful range of multi-layered hand crafted knives made by Kazuyuki Tanaka. The central cutting core of VG10 steel is surrounded by 32 layers of stainless steel. These knives have a Rockwell hardness of 60 and have black pakka wood handles. This medium sized multi-layered preparation knife is the perfect ‘all-rounder’. The Santoku is the Japanese multi-purpose knife and is suitable for vegetables, boneless meats, fish and herbs. It is also great on larger vegetables, for example butternut squash and celeriac due to its deep blade.
